8 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 16)

1. An All-Action Finish

Something might've gone wrong with SmackDown's time cues, because the Fatal-4-Way main event didn't get much. Seth Rollins, Big E, 'King' Nakamura and Kevin Owens had to sprint through all of their spots to finish in time - that could've been a disaster without their poise and skills.

The quartet did everything in their power to entertain fans at ringside and preview MITB. KO's elbow drop through the announce table got the reaction you'd expect, and all four used ladders like they were already working Sunday's pay-per-view. Kudos to Michael Cole and Pat McAfee for getting across the coming chaos this weekend as well.

This was all-action.

Seeing Seth end the night by clutching the briefcase was another highlight. Big E worked a backstage promo with Paul Heyman before this, so it looks like WWE are warming him up for a Universal Title push again and keeping Rollins hot. That's a good thing.
