Over-delivering on a show full of folk doing the same thing, Big Show's boxing/wrestling hybrid scrap with Floyd Mayweather undid much of the shoddy work in the build-up as the crowd gleefully steered into the booking of the boxer as a total pr*ck heel.
It was a shame it took the company weeks to get there beforehand. And that Mayweather's magnificent mouthy sidekick had been there for the whole ride too.
The duo were persistent thorns in The Big Show's side until he simply got sick of their sh*t and engaged a beastmode fans were supremely satisfied to see. Show had been gone for over a year ahead of his return a month earlier and had lost enough weight to look and feel reborn as a trained killer. It took a murderous-looking strike from 'Money' to leave him out for the count too. Show selflessly gave his body to the cause here - it's likely he was paid handsomely for those punches.
