8 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 27)

7. This Version Of Taz

Taz promo
AEW

Bellicose Brooklynite Taz came out of his shell at Double Or Nothing and cut a good follow-up promo on Dynamite, letting Jon Moxley know that Brian Cage was about to rip his heart out.

Though nothing earth-shattering, this was solid stuff. Taz is a good talker, particularly when he's allowed to get rowdy, and he came off well as he put Moxley and Cage over, then pulled a variation on his old "survive if I let you" line to close, leaving Mox and 'The Machine' staring each other down between the ring and announce table.

How this new role will impact Taz's commentary position on Dark remains to be seen, but Taz, the manager, is off to a decent start. Cage has the ideal complementary piece for this main event run.
