8 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 27)

5. Brian Cage Kills A Man

Brian Cage's squash victory over Lee Johnson was played perfectly.

A true one-sided shellacking, it was accompanied by a casually-dressed Jon Moxley on commentary. The AEW World Champion witnessed his next challenger decimate poor Lee Johnson, who was mauled at the bell, thrown around like a carrier bag in a Tornado, and sent most of the way across the ring with a German suplex. A Powerbomb, Buckle Bomb, and Drill Claw ended his night in under two minutes.

This was a good bit of business. 'The Machine' looked monstrous, Johnson bumped and solid like a pro, and everyone went home happy. Job done.
