8 Ups & 3 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (12 August)

2. Decay, Meet Savannah

A basic backstage promo saw Tasha Steelz formally introduce her new bodyguard as Savannah Evans, with the towering North Carolinian looking imposing next to the smaller Tasha. Their presentation will work, but Tasha needed more to this promo than Kiera Hogan was the weak link. That was the story before the turn; give us a bit more.

Going forward, Tasha and Savannah look set to challenge Decay's Rosemary and Havok for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, which, again, will work because it's a fresh match. Freshness is necessary for titles, especially in this case. The interactions between Savannah and Havok will be epic, no doubt.

Why's this a Down then? Because Fallah Bahh strutted up, essentially pleading for Tasha to help him with his Decay problem. A minor nitpick, sure, but it's pointless for Fallah to continue this unless he's turning heel. There's nothing in it for him; it's Steelz and Evans who'd become champions. There's potential for Bahh to detract buzz from what could otherwise be a banging feud. Literally, the fix to this niggling issue couldn't be easier.
