8 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 8)

6. Step Aside, Brangelina

The proposal last week from John E. Bravo to Rosemary was a moment for the ages. However, the most surprising part of the whole thing was Taya Valkyrie's acceptance of the wedding. Why? Because she now gets to plan, in her words, the 'wedding of the century'.

We're talking elephants, ice sculptures, and - if the bride gets her way - people being resurrected from the dead. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon never had any of this. Shame on them.

Aside from her wedding planner role, Taya Valkyrie also returned to in-ring action at the Impact Zone, defeating Tasha Steelz in a match of two halves, despite how short it was. On one hand, the action itself was alright in most places, with Kiera Hogan assisting 'The Borica Badass' where possible, with Steelz being flattened with a spear and Road to Valhalla for 'Wera Loca's' victory.

After the bell though? Hogan and Steelz unleashed the weakest attack on Valkyrie possible, with Taya seemingly refusing to sell for them, unless the ambush was just that weak. The match was good enough to make this an Up, but we can't be seeing a repeat of this any time soon. Or ever, for that matter. Like with the Willie Mack and Brian Myers situation, it doesn't help anyone in the long run.
