8 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (15 Nov)

6. The Tag Title Match

Good news: Ziggler and Roode vs. Shorty and Ali wasn't the only top tag match on SmackDown.

OK, so The Revival getting an automatic rematch for the belts they just lost last week didn't make much sense (WWE claimed that clause was old hat) and the non-finish won't please everyone, but who cares? These guys could work every single night and it wouldn't be boring. They're that good.

New Day share the same kind of chemistry with Dash and Dawson they did with The Usos, and it's genuinely nice to see WWE take tag wrestling seriously in 2019. This was another that was raging towards a hot conclusion before the NXT crew jumped in and the Undisputed Era got their faces on TV yet again.

Philly fans reacted to Cole and company spoiling the ending like they should. They were irate that New Day didn't get to hit their finisher, pick up the win and send The Revival tumbling to the back of the title hunt queue.
