8 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (15 Nov)

4. The New Blue Universal Title

The blue/purplish (depending on the light) Universal Title leather Bray Wyatt debuted this week is beautiful.

It never made any sense that the belt would stay red when SmackDown star Wyatt bagged it from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel anyway. It's blue brand property, and it needed to start getting in line with other championships on the show like SmackDown's Tag and Women's 'gold'.

As is typically the case with Wyatt, the mirthful menace found a fun way to announce the colour switch. He cast a magic spell, then grunted, giggled and sighed with pleasure whenever he touched the thing. It's also notable that the belt has new 'Fiendish' side plates on it too. Those are swish.

If nothing else, at least WWE realise that Raw and SmackDown's distinct red and blue colour palettes are aesthetically important. The next challenge will be giving Wyatt a title reign that does this customised title proud. Stay tuned for that.
