Stop teasing us, WWE.

Daniel Bryan returned on SmackDown to a rapturous virtual reception (ahem) and blandly ran through some potential matches he could have against Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, Apollo Crews and others. He missed out Seth Rollins, which prompted the 'SmackDown Saviour' to come out and attempt to enlist Bryan as his new sidekick.

Though this was a mere bridge to get back to the Seth vs. Rey and Dominik Mysterio story, it did hint at what's to come. Rollins sold like a champ for Bryan's short flurry of offence, and it's clear to see that they can't wait to work opposite one another. Just as well, because yours truly can't wait to see it happen.

These men will do great things together in-ring. Some tag matches that see Dan teaming up with Rey and Dominik against Seth and two other heels could also be a ball - Murphy, meanwhile, appears to have split from his old leader.
