8 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (Oct 7)

6. Deeb Elevates Swole

Serena Deeb Big Swole
AEW

Last night's match with Big Swole showcased why Serena Deeb is going to be an invaluable addition to the AEW roster.

Deeb is a phenomenal enhancer. Whether she's winning or losing, she's one of the best in the business when it comes to helping her opponents look great, as she did with Swole. This was a smooth, grapple-heavy match in which it looked like Serena was playing a guiding hand, though Swole held up her end of the bargain as well, particularly through a furious closing stretch that saw her put the veteran down with a pump kick, headbutt, and rolling elbow.

This was one of Swole's more impressive outings in AEW. She moves to 10-3 and may challenge for Nyla Rose's top spot in next week's rankings, setting her up for a potential Women's Title challenger. As for Deeb? Get ready for her to become one of the most complimentary wrestlers in the promotion.
