8 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (15 April)

6. One More War

An eight-man tag team match has now been confirmed for Rebellion as Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack, Chris Sabin, and James Storm collide with all four members of Violent By Design.

The challenge was made by Storm, as he and Sabin intervened to save Edwards and Mack from a four-on-two beatdown. It was Eddie Edwards who initially challenge the VBD quartet to a fight following their alleged involvement in Tommy Dreamer’s backstage assault at Hardcore Justice, with Eric Young being great in his verbiage on the situation. The former World Champion claimed that while he was gleeful at seeing Dreamer laid out, his group had nothing to do with the matter.

How this one plays out remains to be seen. Eric Young suffered a legitimate torn ACL at the last set of IMPACT tapings while wrestling James Storm in ‘The Cowboy’s’ 1000th IMPACT match. He obviously won’t be wrestling in the match; a replacement such as Erick Redbeard would suffice. A big beefy boy like him could easily slot into both Violent By Design and IMPACT as a whole.
