8 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 11)

3. Sleazy Letdown

Rob Van Dam vs. Joey Ryan is a match that could've been something special, but instead of putting on an actually good match, we were instead treated to Katie Forbes making out with 'The Whole F'N Show' for what felt like half of it.

Don't take that for what it is though, because when they were wrestling, it wasn't all bad news - a few sloppier parts here and there, but overall not the worst match on the show, hence why it's lower down on the Down spectrum. However, the fact that it very well could've (and should've) been something much better than it was is just disappointing.

It feels like this is the end of the rivalry, if you can even call it that, which is a massive shame. There were bags of potential on offer here. To have it wasted is a lacklustre move on the part of everyone involved. RVD would win the match with a Five Star Frog Splash, although it perhaps should be renamed the Three Star Frog Splash here. Not one of his more beautiful attempts at the move.

On the plus side, Joey got RVD to touch 'it', so everyone wins really.
