8 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 10)
3. Farewell, Rascalz
While it appeared to be part of a storyline at first, next week will indeed mark the final Impact Wrestling appearance for The Rascalz, as officially confirmed by PWInsider. The trio have been evicted from their treehouse, which apparently also ends their Impact contracts.
They'll be going out with a bang at least, as Rich Swann will step up to team with Trey Miguel against Dez and Wentz in what is sure to be a tantalising contest. From a reviewer's perspective, it'll be a nightmare trying to condense everything that happens there into a couple paragraphs, but it's the perfect way to bring an end to the Impact careers of The Rascalz.
All three have left their hearts in the ring every time they compete since debuting with the company. 2020, in particular, has been a fantastic year for the trio, with Miguel having a stellar time after challenging for both the World and X Division Championships, while Wentz also had a star-making performance vs. Ace Austin as he replaced an injured Trey in the finals of that World Championship number one contender's tournament.
It goes without saying, but thank you, Rascalz.
