8 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 10)

2. Man With A Plan

If TJP lost this week, he would never be allowed to challenge for the X Division Championship again for as long as Rohit Raju is champion. It would be the perfect scenario for 'The Desi Hitman'. He's already gotten rid of Chris Bey's attention, with the former champion now chasing the World Championship it seems. To then also see off TJP would be of huge benefit to the reigning champion.

So, of course, Raju had a plan of action, regardless of if it was planned the entire time before the match. While locked in a kneebar, Rohit grabbed the X Division Championship belt with the intention of using it to clock his challenger, which naturally distracted the referee. This gave Raju the perfect opportunity to kick TJP below the belt. Follow that with a huge knee to the skull, and you can take TJP's name off the X Division Championship challengers list for the foreseeable future.

What Impact are doing with Rohit's title reign is perfect. Every time it looks as if he'll drop the title, he surprises you. Your writer was extremely worried his reign would be short-lived, given how he'd been treated in the company leading to that point. That his reign is still going on almost three months later is a delightful surprise.

When he does eventually lose the title, whoever it's to, will be a huge moment, particularly if his run with the strap continues on this excellent streak of matches.
