2. Wes Lee’s Time

The ex-MSK man was the right choice to haul down that North-American Title. It looks like Carmelo Hayes is main roster bound, and no-one else in the match really felt as worthy as Wes of taking the vacant gold home. It was awesome to see an ex-tag worker breakout like this as a singles too.

Even a blind man could see how much winning this belt meant to the guy. Lee was almost shaking with happiness and he steadied himself atop the ladder and pulled his first singles titles "in any promotion ever" (according to Vic Joseph) down from the heavens.

Wes could spin off into singles scenarios against anybody else in this five-way. It'd be particularly interesting to see him work a flyer vs. power battle with Von Wagner, or maybe he could mimic Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet heroics with Nathan Frazer.

Not putting any stress on the lads there, eh?!
