5. Creeds Fight Off Judgment Day

The Judgment Day The Creed Brothers

If WWE is going to insist on doing comic relief with R-Truth, this is probably the best way to do it.

Truth ran afoul of Judgment Day again Monday night, and this time the group unloaded on the ageless superstar. Damian Priest took his head off with a clothesline, triggering a 4-on-1 beatdown that ran until the Creed Brothers sprinted ringside for the save. That might have seemed like a mismatch, but Julius Creed took out Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh in one fell swoop and then helped brother Brutus to chase off the tag champs.

For whatever reason, Truth is still insanely popular with live audiences, so the Creeds saving him from Judgment Day instantly made them heroes. Plus, they looked like bad*sses taking down four men. That’s the sort of thing Julius and Brutus need right now, building them up in fans’ eyes, as they’re still unproven commodities.

Here’s hoping for more good stuff to come for the brothers.
