When we last saw Becky Lynch on Raw, she was on the downswing of her Big Time Becks persona, having just lost her Raw Women’s Championship and getting injured.

She left a burgeoning babyface, but still needed to fully shed that image. Returning to help one-time rival Bianca Belair win at WarGames was a perfect way to turn the page, but Monday’s show-opening promo also was a huge step toward reestablishing Lynch as a mega-face.

Becky wasted little time in jumping into the crowd, high-fiving fans and interviewing them, cutting a promo while leaning against a guy and saying she was going to slap the heads off of everyone in the women’s division.

Bayley’s interruption provided Lynch the perfect foil, and she then managed to fight Damage CTRL to a stalemate before officials and security broke up the brawl on the concourse. If you were wondering if fans would take to Becky once again as The Man, this left little doubt.
