2. Kevin Owens Triumphs

If we truly are building to Kevin Owens once again challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal World Heavyweight Championship, he needed to make a statement after losing at WarGames.

Beating Roman’s right-hand man, Jey Uso, was probably the best possible statement. KO toppled Jey in a feisty main-event match that saw Owens eat numerous superkicks and still kick out, driving everyone – fans included – crazy. Things broke down with the Bloodline trying to get involved, but KO avoided the melee, hit a Stunner on Jey and picked up the win.

The victory should propel Owens toward a clash with Reigns, as you can expect that he’ll target the other members of the faction until he gets the Tribal Chief’s attention and goads a title match out of him.

Owens and Reigns had some really good matches in the empty ThunderDome in 2021, so hopefully they’ll get to dazzle live fans soon.
