8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (28 Nov - Review)

4. Are They Really Doing This?

Alexa Bliss
WWE

It’s probably fair to say that Alexa Bliss’ recent run has been underwhelming. She hasn’t really set the world on fire, and save for a five-day WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship reign last month, she hasn’t had a ton of success.

Instead, Bliss has been playing sidekick to Bianca Belair, a role that doesn’t seem to fit someone previously known as The Goddess. A heel turn to become Belair’s next challenger for the Raw Women’s Championship isn’t a bad idea at all, especially if Damage CTRL is moving on to Becky Lynch now.

But we’ve been seeing hints of Alexa possibly rejoining Bray Wyatt, with little clues dropped here and there. Monday night, Wyatt’s symbol briefly appeared on a TV behind Bliss during a backstage promo, further lending to the rumors. Bliss appeared disinterested in the interview, not paying attention when asked a question.

If you’re going to turn her heel, let Alexa do something closer to her earlier villainess character, not the spooky, brainwashed girl who performed parlour tricks in the ThunderDome. Is anyone – other than horny dudes – longing for a return of that character?

We can give some latitude here, but for now, we’ll give it a mild “down” with hopes for the best.
