6. Welcome Back Profits

It’s almost always good when a talented act returns to action, and that’s the case with the Street Profits, who had their first tag match in two months Monday night.

The Profits defeated Alpha Academy in a spirited match highlighted by Montez Ford – who was last seen on Raw sporting a walking boot – lifting Otis up and slamming the tree trunk and then flexing like crazy. It was the kind of return you’d hope for if you were out with an injury, with fans into your act and being across the ring from someone like Chad Gable, who can make anyone look fantastic.

Ford has been pegged for solo stardom for a while now, and Angelo Dawkins has started making a case for a singles career as well, so it’s unclear how long the Street Profits act will continue, but for now, having them back only helps bolster the tag ranks.
