5. LeRae Returns With A Statement

Candice LeRae’s main roster run has been a disappointment so far, as she almost immediately started to be 50/50’d after her debut and then was knocked out of action for more than a month, missing WarGames.

Monday night, LeRae returned to action against one of the Damage CTRL members who assaulted her last month, Dakota Kai. The two had an uneven at times match that pulled fans in with some nice moves. Kai’s kicks and Candice’s aerial attacks worked well together.

Notably, LeRae didn’t even wait for the match to begin to try to get revenge for the backstage attack last month, jumping Kai during her entrance. Unfortunately, that took place during the break, so many fans probably missed it. But seeing her show some fire and get to unload some offense was a big plus for her.

Here’s hoping Candice gets a better shake this go-around.
