8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 9 - Review)

7. Ripley Dominates

The truth of the matter is that Rhea Ripley should be positioned as a dominant force in the women’s division, not just in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season, but constantly.

So seeing her overpower and topple Candice LeRae in an easy fashion Monday night was a welcome sight. The Poison Pixie got a bit of offense and some hope spots (including a nice avalanche German suplex), but she was simply no match for Rhea, who caught a dive to the floor and rammed LeRae into the barricade a couple of times.

Ripley has got to be looked at as a favourite in the upcoming Rumble and should be in a top spot come WrestleMania 39, and wins like Monday’s are just more fuel to the fire for her ascent.
