A recent string of decent Swinger’s Palace skits has ended. The ones throughout Hardcore Justice did f*ck all, other than book a boring encounter between Matt Cardona and Johnny Swinger.
Chris Sabin and James Storm were on hand first of all, revealing they were given the night off following Tuesday’s beatdown courtesy of Violent By Design. Soon joined by XXXL, a drinking game match was set; drink loads of beer and then wrestle each other. Simple. Unfortunately, it just didn’t hit the mark of recent skits, and an actual match never occurred.
They were later shown drunkenly playing beer pong, with both Acey Romero and Larry D finding themselves laid out. Larry was even sent flying over the poker table. This part was fine, as Chris Sabin seemed to be genuinely loving life. Fair play to him for making the most out of a nothing situation.
Matt Cardona also got involved, resulting in Tommy Dreamer booking him against ‘The Swing Man’ in a Mystery Crates match. We’ll talk about that match later on, but spoiler alert; it oozed of 2000 World Championship Wrestling.
