8 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Sep 29)
2. Good Brothers Dominate
Ever since their arrival at Slammiversary, The Good Brothers took the opportunity of a new platform to remind everyone just how destructive they can be, something Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz found out the hard way.
Even though the treehouse residents got in some flurries of offence, their tag match was very much wrestled in favour of Gallows and Anderson, who used their size advantage to annihilate their opposition. From 'The Big LG' chucking The Rascalz into each other (and very nearly, the steel ring steps) to 'The Machine Gun' near enough busting a ring board from the impact of his spinebuster, it came as no surprise when a Magic Killer sealed their victory.
Post-match, the former Bullet Club men issued a warning to The Motor City Machine Guns, announcing their intention of challenging for the World Tag Team Championships come Bound For Glory. It's actually quite a refreshing feeling to see an act come into a new promotion, and not immediately go after the championship in question. They worked their way through Ace Austin & Madman Fulton before going for the titles, wanting to first prove why they earn a title shot.
Things haven't exactly been running that smoothly in the doubles division as of late, but Gallows and Anderson are certainly a top pick for championship consideration.
