8 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (June 28)

4. Back On Top

Ever since The North was formed in Impact Wrestling, they've had a bit of a rocky career to say the least. One minute they're being one of the best teams on the whole roster, and the next they're being defeated by ECW guys from years ago for no reason. Thankfully, this week saw them as the former.

Their opening match with The Deaners was an alright match for what it was. It wasn't going to get the wrestling world buzzing, but it did what it needed to do, and that was hype up Ethan Page and Josh Alexander ahead of their World Tag Team Championships opportunity next week. Even though that title match with The LAX is taking place on one of those live specials (it's called Bash At The Brewery for those wondering), it's still a title match nonetheless.

Both 'All Ego' and the 'Walking Weapon' left this match looking strong before that aforementioned match, something they desperately need right now following all of this ECW nonsense. They're likely losing the title match as it's two days before Slammiversary, but that's beside the point just now.
