8 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (June 28)
3. Insane Six Man Tag
Before this week's episode of Impact, one match that had been receiving plenty of hype on social media was the six man tag team match which pitted The Rascalz against The LAX and Laredo Kid. Clearly, those hyping the match weren't wrong as the six guys involved put on one of the best six man tag team matches in recent memory.
There were bodies flying all over the ring from bell to bell. Laredo Kid was a real standout here, hitting a picture-perfect top rope moonsault to the outside as well as a 450 splash to all three members of The Rascalz at once. You'll have to imagine he'll be getting used more in Impact going forward following his performance. They'd be stupid to let that sort of opportunity slip away.
In the end, it would be Dez, Trey, and Wentz who picked up the win, utilising their three move finisher that ended with Trey's diving double knee attack. This leaves the momentum on their side heading into the Slammiversary tag titles match, but if wrestling has taught us anything, that means they'll be losing at the pay-per-view. All in all though, an excellent showing here from all involved.
