8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (4 Mar - Results & Review)

6. Damian Priest Is A Beast

Damian Priest
WWE

Every so often, WWE seems to remember that Damian Priest has potential as a dominant force in the ring. And then they book him to look like a killer and it just works.

Priest proved the difference-maker in a bitter match pitting Judgment Day against Imperium, with Senor Money in the Bank taking over toward the finish, demanding a tag and snuffing out a rally, putting Giovanni Vinci away convincingly. It was a solid victory for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, but given Priest’s confrontation with Gunther last week, it was a welcome sight to see him booked strong here.

WWE seems to lose interest in Priest as a singles star every so often, but performances like this show that he still has a spark. Whether that means he will be a world champion in the coming months remains to be seen, but Monday’s match was a fun affair with a strong performance from the Archer of Infamy.
