8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (4 Mar - Results & Review)

5. Tag Teams Plot Against Judgment Day

It’s clear that fans in the arenas love R-Truth and love the idea of him being rewarded for his loyalty to the company with a WrestleMania tag title victory.

But that doesn’t mean that the path to get there is all sunshine and rainbows. While Judgment Day was involved in a tough tag battle with Imperium, likely tag challengers R-Truth and Miz were backstage playing WWE 2K24 with #DIY (still branded “Re-Generation X” by Truth) and Xavier Woods.

Miz talked about getting revenge on Judgment Day, but the best options the group had come up with were to slime them and feed them bread – because they might have a gluten allergy. This is the build to a Mania tag match to unseat champions who have held the title for all but nine days during the past six months. (Also worth asking where the Creed Brothers have gone, as they’re a team that might actually get a rub knocking off long-term champs at WrestleMania.)

Not everything needs to be serious, but if you’re going to go for lighthearted comedy, at least make it funny.
