8 Ups And 2 Downs For WWE NXT (Apr 13)

8. Kross Takes Centre Stage
NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver was a memorable night for many a black and gold star. Yet, it's hard to look past new NXT Champion Karrion Kross as the biggest beneficiary from the two-night extravaganza.
Overcoming Finn Balor in an absolute war on Night 2, The Bringer of Doomsday had every right to have a spring in his step as he opened up the first Tuesday Night NXT, and the new champ exuded star power from the off.
Kross didn't step a foot wrong in this short but sweet address, putting over The Prince as a GOAT (despite being fond of kitty litter), confessing that the show which he presides over has the hungriest workers on the planet, but admitting that he too is starving and can't wait to see who steps up.
The brand's top title threatened to get lost in the shuffle upon Kross' sudden TakeOver: XXX injury many months back. Of course, Balor did an admirable job in keeping the ship steady for a spell, but the return of the all-conquering captain finally seems to have ushered in a new era of prestige, one that doesn't look likely to end any time soon.
