6. O'Reilly + Cole = Fight 4 Eva?

There's absolutely no questioning the fact that Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole beat the ever loving p*ss out of each other on Night 2 of TakeOver: Stand and Deliver. Their unsanctioned war may have felt like a whole event in its own right at times, but based on the highlights package put together for NXT this week alone, you have to take your hat off to the innovative and often barbaric lengths they went to in order to craft a memorable grudge match.

The big selling point when it came to these two this week, however, was the promise of exclusive footage from the vent that had not been exposed to the general public beforehand. The usual array of shots depicting a crippled star being stretchered up the ramp followed, with Cole and O'Reilly both being carted off into an ambulance - with additional pulsating music for added tension.

Yet, once the pair finally made it to the hospital, the wheels threatened to fall off this whole thing. In an hilarious turn of events, the two were wheeled into the facility side by side, opening the door for a sequence of bickering that felt like something fresh out of a Seth Rogen comedy.

Your writer will admit that they popped out of their chair at the sight of the surreal back-and-forth, despite being fully aware that this was likely not the mood 'The Game' was going for after such an "epic" battle. If this showcase of squabbling was anything to go by though, expect O'Reilly and Cole to continue fighting for some time yet. And that's... actually not the worst idea in the world.
