8. The Million Dollar Man Raises The Stakes

It was announced ahead of time that a 'Priceless Announcement' was making its way to Tuesday night earlier this week, and boy howdy, did it live up to that billing.

Before we could get to Ted DiBiase's double-whammy later in the night, though, both Cameron Grimes and LA Knight each took turns in selling themselves to the legendary star as the person to carry forward the Million Dollar Legacy. This consisted of Knight hosting some gorgeous women in his hot tub - not allowing them to laugh for too long because that's just what Million Dollar a-holes do - and Grimes attempting to swallow some high-end whiskey without coughing up his guts.

Their glamorous vignettes were soon rendered moot when DiBiase eventually revealed that the two would be battling in a Million Dollar Ladder match at TakeOver: In Your House. In the wake of a career-best promo from Grimes, the item the rivals would be reaching for was then brought forward; the iconic Million Dollar Championship.

It's safe to say that whichever man walks out of Sunday night with the sparkling title will fit the Million Dollar bill. However, it feels as though Grimes in particular is riding an impressive wave of form and all-round momentum. So, perhaps allowing him to take that title to the moon en-route to bigger things in the future wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.
