2. Samoa Joe And Karrion Kross Kept Apart As Deep Dive Takes Centre Stage

After a few weeks of cat and mouse, Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe took something of a breather last night, allowing their histories to do a lot of the talking.

In a typically enthralling video package, Kross confessed that Joe enjoyed hurting people as much as him and that the two weren't so different. Yet, Joe defiantly felt different, launching out the zinger that was: the two were as similar as a house fire and a hurricane.

Also, when asked about whether this was about the belt, Joe simply retorted that he was just focused on f***ing up the champ. Joe is a treasure, and must be protected at all costs.

The gladiators will meet face-to-face just before TakeOver 36 next week, and this war will no doubt see one last skirmish before the final battle that is on the horizon. Can Kross keep hold of his gold a while longer? Or is his NXT time finally up? Tick tock...
