Paitti pushed Martin Kirby off the rope and the glowsticks began flying. I nearly threw my laptop!

One of the biggest improvements of WCPW over WWE has been having an honest, nice guy babyface as the commissioner. Vince, Stephanie and Triple H have run the evil authority figure into the ground since 1998. It’s one of the most tired tropes in the business, and takes too much of the spotlight away from the wrestlers themselves.

HOWEVER, with that all said, I will admit I have some hypocrisy in me as I think the most entertaining character in all of wrestling is Dario Cueto in Lucha Underground. But will Pacitti be an El Jefe or a McMahon?

Now, this could work out well in the long-term as it can help Kirby reach that next level by having an entertaining personality in Pacitti to play off of.

With WCPW only having been in existence for a few months, it feels too soon to turn Pacitti (if it should be done at all), but perhaps there's a long-term plan in place that will overcome the initial resistance to this big move.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
