8 Ups And 3 Downs From WCPW Refuse To Lose

6. Blampied Gets Rampaged

Rampage Adam Blampied

Blampied was well past due for an ass kicking. After being the company’s biggest chickens**t heel since the first episode of Loaded, Rampage finally got his hands on him.

Blampied tried to buy his way out of the bout in a humorous moment (a roughly $800 offer as Jim Cornette informed us), but Rampage was far more interested in fighting. The initial knife edge chop to Blampied was absolutely brutal. But Adam's retaliation Kendo shots were...well…a bit light.

The return of Damo was a nice surprise, but you knew Blampied wasn’t walking out of this one on his own two feet. The powerbomb spot was a bit scary, as not only did the table not cooperate, but the two seemed to have trouble balancing correctly, but they recovered nicely.

It wasn’t much of a technical bout, but it was an entertaining spectacle to pay off the Rampage/Blampied storyline, featuring a stripped and badly beat Adam. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess he'll someday return to WCPW!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
