8 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 3)

1. Welcome Back Balor

After eight months, you can’t blame fans for being so impatient that they chanted his name repeatedly throughout Raw, but when Finn Balor officially returned to WWE, the roof blew off the joint… and rightfully so.

Balor exploded onto the scene last summer as a top star on the Raw brand, winning the new Universal Championship by defeating Seth Rollins. However, he injured his shoulder during the bout and would have to relinquish the title the next night. The following day, he was in surgery. And then began the long climb back to the main roster.

His absence clearly was a blow to WWE, who was counting on him to be a major player for the company. Given how his return went Monday, with Balor hitting the coup de grace on Kevin Owens for the win, it seems like Finn might pick right up where he left off last summer.
