Man, that coronation for Roman Reigns as the new WWE Universal Champion was sure great, wasn’t it?

Oh, that wasn’t what happened? It sure sounded like everyone on Raw was talking about how much he deserved the title and how his feet hit the floor first… oh, the referee made a mistake? And apologized? But the decision stands? So Roman was screwed again? Well then.

Anyway, Monday Night Raw rolled into Bizarro World, also known as Montreal, where WWE surprisingly didn’t reference the Screwjob for a change, but did deliver a solid episode, with a couple good matches, including an outstanding Intercontinental Championship match. We also set the table for yet another WWE PPV, the third such event in less than a month.

We saw Alexa Bliss get in her digs against Nia Jax… and then flee when confronted. We saw Samoa Joe offer his condolences to Reigns on his latest loss. We saw a fired-up crowd carry a Raw that also featured a hapless Baron Corbin and an injured (in storyline) Bobby Roode.

Raw was good, but give an assist to the fans. With that said, let’s find out what won the day and what came up short. Let’s get to it…
