If the faces had to win the six-man tag match against two Canadians (three if you count Jinder Mahal), then at least Braun Strowman was the one who picked up the pinfall.

Strowman’s popularity reaches beyond country borders, and with his Greatest Royal Rumble victory under his belt, he was the right choice to pick up the win for his team. It might seem odd to give an “up” when WWE jobbed out two hometown superstars in Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, but it could have been worse.

WWE could have had Roman Reigns pick up the pin, which would have sent Montreal into a frenzy. Baby steps.
