It really says something when the biggest star on Raw Monday night was the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Becky Lynch led an all-out assault on the Raw women’s division Monday, first attacking champ Ronda Rousey backstage, then marching to the ring to provide a distraction so the SmackDown women’s division could attack.

During the melee, Becky got busted open hardway, leading to her to continuing the assault with a bloody face, hands and arms (as she had to repeatedly wipe away the blood). The result was a phenomenal visual you just don’t get to see in the women’s ranks or even in WWE at large today.

Lynch took out a charging Rousey with a steel chair, then preened around the ring and paraded into the crowd – all while still sporting a bloody face. It seriously was a fantastic moment that had fans openly chanting for Becky even more enthusiastically. To say that Becky Lynch “arrived” Monday night might not be an understatement.

It’s tempting to say that WWE has to hear that and capitalize on her ungodly popularity right now, but hey, it’s WWE.
