3. Solo Bows Up, Pays For It

Since debuting on the main roster, Solo Sikoa has been the Bloodline’s silent, stoic enforcer, a stone-cold assassin who shows no emotion.

But the unflappable Sikoa succumbed to Cody Rhodes’ taunting Monday night in a rare lapse, one that also further exposed some of the cracks that are forming in Roman Reigns’ empire. Cody noted that Solo was staring at him throughout the main event promo, and he called him out on it. Rhodes also pointed out that he was once the second-generation wrestler standing behind the world champion, adding that he wasn’t ready then either.

This clearly didn’t sit well with Sikoa, who stood his ground after Roman left, staring Cody down until Reigns yelled at him to get out of the ring. However, Rhodes lured him back in by saying that he was right that Solo isn’t ready. The attack backfired though, and Reigns had to grab him to stop the debacle.

Cody getting the better of Solo at a time when Roman needs his soldiers to stand pat and follow his lead showed that the Bloodline is clearly in disarray, even if it looks stable and calm above the surface. They’re all flailing desperately to stay afloat, and some of that thrashing reveals itself in different ways, such as Sikoa getting suckered into unsuccessfully attacking Rhodes.
