Wrestling rarely is a love-fest where the fans and athletes both get to luxuriate in positive vibes and compliment each other, but Raw opened with just that Monday night.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to a thunderous reaction, basking in the cheers and celebrating their reunion. The duo sang each other’s praises before quickly turning their focus to the mission at hand – bringing down the Bloodline. They turned their attention to the WrestleMania sign…

Which led the Usos to come out and initially toss cold water on the idea of a WrestleMania tag title match before Jey pointed out that it would be their best opportunity to put their Sami and KO problems to rest for good in one shot. Just like that, the challenge was accepted and the brawl was on.

This might have resembled your typical show-opening promo on paper, but in practice, it was white-hot and set what likely is the main event for night one of WrestleMania.
