After a scintillating Raw debut last week, Angel Garza needed to back it up with a nice performance Monday night.

We got just that when Garza cleanly defeated Cedric Alexander on Raw, hitting a Wing Clipper for the pin. But before the match could begin, Garza’s cousin Humberto Carrillo attacked him, leading to a pull-apart brawl that actually had the fans chanting, “Let them fight!”, which is always a great sign for a feud.

The reports from last week were all over the map as to whether Garza is permanently up on Raw or just filling time while Andrade serves his 30-day suspension. But if he continues to get reactions like Monday, there’s a good chance we could see a new star budding on the red brand.
