8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 27)

4. Black Not Waiting Around

It’s fair to say that the “Knock on my door and pick a fight with me” gimmick Aleister Black was using had a short shelf life and needed to transition.

Black sitting in a room and talking rather than fighting seemed out of character for him, but that looks to be changing.

After dispatching of jobber Kenneth Johnson in mere seconds, Black took the mic and recounted his elimination from the Royal Rumble at the hands of Seth Rollins and his cohorts. He didn’t blame them, but rather blamed himself for not handling all his business. He then said he was no longer sitting back and waiting for someone to pick a fight with him, but rather would bring the fight to the locker room.

Hopefully, that means we’ll see Aleister on the offensive in the coming weeks.
