8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 27)

3. Mojo Steps To Everyone

It’s a simple deal: Beat people up, get over.

Mojo Rawley has been floundering for what seems like forever, but he’s turned a corner of sorts recently, winning the 24/7 Championship and pledging to defend it rather than running and hiding from everyone. He did just that Monday night, facing No Way Jose in the ring and wiping him out in seconds.

Rawley also was smart in bringing NXT superstar Riddick Moss up with him to serve as his backup, a guy to watch his blindside. Unfortunately, Moss missed the hamburger from the conga line, who rolled up Mojo to capture the 24/7 title. It turned out to be R-Truth, but he didn’t get far.

Riddick stopped him from leaving, and Rawley quickly regained the title. Perfectly acceptable filler, and it gives Rawley (and now Moss) something to do.
