One of the bright spots in WWE these days is that the company is booking Nia Jax to look dominant without outright burying her competition.

Jax has decisively knocked off Sasha Banks, but Nia previously injured and reinjured the Boss’ knee, which then played into their two matches last week. Jax looked strong and convincing, but she also set her up for defeat. Then Monday night, Nia was dishing it out to Bayley when Charlotte came down to distract or interfere in the match, drawing Bayley into a confrontation, which led to Jax hitting the Samoan Drop for three.

Again, Nia was in control for much of the match and could have convincingly won the match, but having her benefit from one small extracurricular helped give Bayley hope. Plus, Charlotte’s interference set the table for their title rematch next week, so that’s a win-win.
