7. Keeping It Simple

WWE managed to do something right with Puff Daddy Monday night: They kept his involvement simple, easy and fun. The music mogul showed up backstage with Mick Foley, offering him front row tickets to an upcoming Bad Boy Entertainment show, then proceeded to interact with two-thirds of New Day.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were perfect for a backstage vignette, as the group was still recovering from losing Big E to injury, but clearly were capable of hanging with anyone in a more subdued manner. Puff Daddy explained his involvement with WWE (2K17's music director), plugged a concert tour and then faded into the background with New Day.

If only all guest hosts understood that it is not about them...
