8. Does Dana Brooke Have A Spine?

Color this writer intrigued by the ongoing love/hate relationship between Charlotte and Dana Brooke, though it might be more a morbid curiosity than anything else.

The women’s champ and her protégé have been bickering for weeks, but it escalated last week when Charlotte slapped Dana. Brooke returned the favor Monday, dropping Charlotte and earning a spot in a #1 contender’s match. But after the match, Dana went right back to sniveling and groveling at Charlotte’s feet, carrying her bags out of the arena.

The curiosity comes from wondering where things go next and ultimately will end up. Dana has stood up for herself once and immediately cowered again. Will she stand up to Charlotte again? But at the same time, Brooke really hasn’t played a heroine her entire time in NXT and WWE, so you’ve got to wonder about that. Still, we’ll give positive marks for a consistent storyline between the two that continues to develop.
