8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 15)

5. Street Profits Continue Backstage Predictions

Just to be clear, this isn’t so much a “down” as it’s a grumble.

Watching the Street Profits continue their backstage commentating Monday night makes you wonder if WWE has any actual plans for the NXT Tag Team Champions, or if they just like having the two of them there to offer their predictions for upcoming matches.

And while Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford are entertaining enough, this seems like a waste of them. The argument can be made that we’re getting an introduction to the pair, but rather than them charting their own path as an act, they’re simply reacting to what’s happening on Raw. That isn’t really helping them.

Maybe there actually are some plans for them, but right now, it isn’t clear, and it would be nice if we saw them stepping up for themselves while they’re here on the main roster rather than making predictions backstage.
