3. A New (Day) Opening

Just when you start feeling that New Day is getting stale, the trio goes and livens things up with a little help from Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

The two teams put together a highly entertaining opening segment, with Xavier Woods and Big E initially mocking Kofi Kingstons new sneakers, which they called old man shoes, but actually were new Chef Curry low-tops. Enzo and Cass would play along for a bit before taking Xaviers trombone Francesca II to task, saying she was out with Enzo in New Orleans all night.

Was it silly and childish? Absolutely. But was it funny? Oh hell yeah. Cass calling New Days unicorn horns massagers for her pleasure, Enzo saying he had his fingers and lips all over Francesca II, Woods yelling that hes the only one who blows my girl it was a cartoonish, over-the-top opening that just worked perfectly as a one-off.
