Last week, former Smackdown GM Teddy Long returned and embarrassed himself in a series of segments on Raw. Monday, Kane made his return backstage looking decidedly different than when he left.

Kane donned his suit and reassumed his Director of Operations persona, lobbying for a job after the brand split next month. He produced a resume and a letter of reference from the Undertaker. All the while, Stephanie seemed repulsed by her former Authority stablemate. She left it to Shane to deal with Kane, who simply wanted a job running Smackdown.

Despite offering a good idea that was taken and put into action, Kane was unceremoniously let go and taken out of consideration for the position.
