7. Wyatt’s Promo Changes Things Up

Whether you’re a fan of Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse segments, you can’t deny that they’re vastly different than what we’ve dealt with for years.

A Universal Championship verbal confrontation would have been two guys in the ring trading canned lines at each other, but instead, we had Bray Wyatt in his funhouse telling Seth Rollins that he was glad he was OK after The Fiend attacked him at the end of Clash of Champions. It was a strange promo – with Rambling Rabbit telling Rollins to run before Wyatt chased him off – that ended with Bray promising that Fiend never forgets, and he might have more to say later.

They’ll have to mix things up at some point, but the idea that Wyatt only appears on taped segments and Fiend appears in person is a pretty cool one. It keeps the Jekyll & Hyde personalities really separate and lets you speculate a little more about things.

We’ll see how this develops, but the feud is off to a decent start.
